Interesting, on "this week" there, Neil (who used to run bits of the Mr Doch's empire) seemed to suggest he knows that when Murd said he'd never asked politicians for anything, this was .. not true.

Gamblers in UK should be grateful to Gordon Brown for abolishing off-course betting tax as well as keeping us out of the euro!

anyone who says gordon brown is mentally unbalanced is definitely telling the truth

I was referring specifically to Murdoch's accusation that after revealing to Gordon Brown that his newspaper were going to support the Conservatives in the upcoming election, that Gordon Brown replied by saying..
‘Well, your company has declared war on the Government. We have no alternative but to declare war on your company.’ which Brown later denied saying. So one has to be right and one wrong. Of course I wouldnt trust either man with a bargepole. |

Wasn't Brown famous for losing his temper and e.g. smashing phones up in a rage?

" I wouldn't trust either man with a bargepole " ?.

It's a strange expression, but probably also true.
I'd touch them, even without a bargepole.... If I had rampant contagious leprosy . |

its has strangely sexual overtones, suggesting some sort of bargepole rape at the hands of either man. Of course, brown has long been dogged by rumours he is a h0mo, though its Murdoch Senior's son who is clearly a woofter. Therefore, i'd trust Lupert with a bargepole, but not Brown due to the aforementioned rumours.

I wouldn't touch them as far as I could throw them.

I'll take the 2/1 on Broon. I don't think he is telling the truth, but I'd rather have my money on the pathological liar.
