Just me or has the site just went belly up.
Again.
Still, glad to see the priorities are right, and they're throwing their IT budget at a pointless Beta that everyone hates and not on creating a reliable betting system...

Was that just me where the site and API fell over for 30 minutes?
Maybe it was my ISP but I could access e.g. google news and the bbc site so .. |

API looked dodgy to me on the last few evening races on Friday night ... tried it on 2 different connections and same probs with both ... not updating markets for a couple of (random) seconds during InPlay .... the very last Race of the evening was almost a total noShow for the last 20 secs of the Race ... exactly the same as the Fiday night symptoms i had before the last big Saturday outage.
At the time i was tempted to post a prediction for today's performance, but decided that sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. haven't used it at speed InPlay yet today ... we shall see ... |

I've had problems with the API yesterday evening and earlier today (generally with API calls returning old data).

Actually it's been fine for me all afternoon, but I'm sure there was something wrong Friday evening.
My guess is that it can often be down to which BF IP number your ISP connects to ... i think there's a choice of about 8, and if the server with that IP number is playing up then you get a degraded service, but since it's only 1/8 the customers it doesn't get noticed very widely. Anyway, all ok for me so far. |

My ISP has been doing a bit of d**king around (that's dorking of course
 ) today so I'll give Betfair benefit of the doubt .. this time!What's strange though was at time I posted I COULD go to e.g. BBc or Google "standard sites" but betfair would shudder to a halt trying to load, and the API couldn't connect for toffee. I didn't just immediately assume BF was at fault and post a tantrum, I did try a couple other sites! |

every other site I go works fine and fast
it's this one that is sh!!T most of the time and one of the slowest in the internet, now the question is...is it on purpose or not?? |
