nice idea Investor, but 'Virtual Coin Tossing' is kinda long ... they'd have to move both 'Football' and 'Horse Racing' off the top menu to make room for it Sad

Just putting it on the left hand sports menu between tennis and volleyball would be good enough for me Cool

iamnot sure if this is a serous thread, however, if it is i have some questions.
what is a virtual coin tossing and how does a virtual coin tossing market work? what is your interst on it? and how might it appeal to me and to other gamblers as well?

OP is just highlighting the fact that anything "virtual" is in effect a coin toss.

A virtual coin is tossed by Betfair, we then bet on it in a betting market.
My interest in it is that it would be fun and useful to bet on this.

It should be part of the exchange though, not casino or games, I steer clear of those.

couldn't habitual Sports Exchange bettors be eased gently into the concept by introducing a 'Who will win the Toss' market into existing Sports Markets where it's relevant such as footie, cricket etc, e.g. 'Who will Win the Toss?:'  'Home Team', 'Away Team', 'Couldn't give a Toss'.

it would depend on who is calling heads/tails.  Some team captains are better at it that others.

virtual flies on a wall is the one I'm waiting for.

imagine the excitement as two crudely animated flies, complete with tiny, greyhound-style jackets, slowly crawl up an imaginary wall towards a pencil line.

only for MONEY TREE's each way selection to fall to the floor in a cloud of Raid.

This already exists - just log into the Poker and open a heads-up 'coinflip' table and away you go!

The odds wouldn't always be evens. After 10 heads in a row the true odds would be less than evens for a tail as the number of heads and tails will always revert back to the average.

Thats not true pumpkin, I have carried out research and it takes 16 heads in a row to reduce the probability of a tail (or tall).  It may have worked for you on 10 heads but that was probably by chance.  Read the work done Flip Koyne.

It'd be no different than the exchange games Investor, Betfair would just be first in the queue seeding so unlikely to be of anymore use than exchanges games if you're looking to PC churn.

There would still be a very heated debate about whether "value" really exists.

If the flips were done live by Betfair staff we could have an in-play delay during the flip itself.

Unfortunately that's of no use to me, it has to be as a part of the betting exchange.

I've always wanted this.

Window with rain drops would also be good. You know what to do betfair.
