Tricky one this. There was a firm that closed last year called Eurosport and they initially cancelled all open bets but then backtracked after people kicked up a fuss.
Here is not like the whole operation is closing down either, just in a certain country and the bet was legal at the time of placement. I have no idea who you take this up with other than getting hold of somebody senior at PP. They have no doubt contacted all people in Belgium with similar bets that won't be winning to let them know they have a surprise bonus waiting to be claimed from their old account?.......hmmmmmm I bet not. |

Funnily enough Centrebet did exactly the same thing to UK clients recently when it pulled out of the UK. There maybe a legal requirement to do so. Its terrible PR but clearly PR in Belgium is of no concern to them anymore. I would email paddypower and copy in sportsbookreview.com oddschecker.com and betbrain.com. Perhaps they can give you a fair value for you portfolio of bets.

Take it high up, be honest and say things like you're not pretending you've moved from Belgium. Do as Clydebank says and cc anything where you are reasonable and they are uncooperative to sportsbookreview, oddschecker etc. They should be persuadable in your favour.

This sounds kind of strange. PP closed all canadian accs a year or so back yet they let an ante post bet of mine stand.

Fuuny how you never hear from anybody happy and joyful that losing long term bets are being voided ?
Are there none ? |

I had 3 bets voided with centre, one was a loser, 2 were winners - the stake from the voided losers was far more than the winnings from the winners...
so yes, happy and joyful etc |
