20 delegates and a waiting list is now growing for a repeat conference which will take place soon after the first one. Should be a very enjoyable 2 days

despite being the first person on this thread and pre-registering that same night, and recieving a "interim booking" email from the organisors, they have reneged on this - and when I tried to pay for the tickets they said they had sold them to others. Nice... |

All those who expressed an interest were told to expect an email on the 12th April with regard to payment details effectively giving them first bite of the cherry. That email went out on the 11th and the conference filled up on the 15th so plenty of time to get your booking in. There will be a repeat conference soon after this one so I would suggest hooking onto that one.

Maybe attending a later conference is the better option, gives those at the launch opportunity to say whether it is worthwhile setting aside a whole weekend. We all know people attending who will give an honest appraisal.

I'd go to a tutorial in how to do logistic regression analysis simply and cleanly and one on how to capture and easily format data. I do both of these like a pig at the moment, wasting time I don't have.
The organisers are onto something so I'd be grateful for feedback on what they're actually offering. |

dont want to get in a discussion with you - but that would not be a provisional booking then. that would be a first come first served free from all..., making the purspose of pre-registering a waste of time, which it was good luck hope the conference goes well, but i think you need to go to a different conference on customer management |

I also sent an email inquiry just after Magician, and only ever received an automated reply saying that I would be contacted in due course. There was no further contact. Actually, it's all academic because the conference coincides with the Champions League final - probably the biggest betting night of the year for me - however it would have been nice to have had the option. |

I dont know your current psat with Contraian, but I would say 1) in 8-10 years I have discussed issuse with him on here he has been a gent 2) I have meet him several times and he seems the same in person. I know things can get slightly heated here, and typed messages taken out of context. but I think give him the benefit of the doubt, he is surely one of the good guys on here... |
