Hello, excuse for newbie question but it's unclear for me:
Example:
If I put 28,78 Euros on a price of 3,65... will result 105 Euros (so, i have net winnings 76,22 euros).
Now... Betfair will take 5% commision from 105 Euros (wich means 5 Euros)?? Or they will take 5% commision just from my 76,22 euros winnings (wich means 3.8 Euros)?

I'll answer even if you have been on here for more than 6 years.
Betfair take their commission from your net profit. In this case 3.8 Euro in commission. |

No it won't, they should take exactly 3.81335 EUR but will round it up.
Over time, you will pay even more than 5% commission. A point lost on many here. So in effect, the more money you wager, the bigger the skim will be. |

Correct BTO, even though the gross winnings are 76.27 euros and not as stated!
The way they charge sometimes less than 5%, and sometimes more, makes it very difficult to make a clear audit of ones performance (unless you are a mathematical genius and can be bothered to verify it)! |
