Does anyone know if Bet Angel can be used to place in-play bets if you are a resident of Australia? Looked on their website but couldn't find anything!

No software will allow this as Australian law means you can only place inplay bets by telephone if you are a resident of Australia. I think they allow it on group racing however. Best to check with Betfair support what the current situation is.

All aus thoroughbred racing is in play so you can use Bet Angel for that, but yes for sports you cannot bet in play if you're based in Australia, it's highly illegal and can result in life in jail.
