It's good to see the fraudsters having to pay back the money even if they're not being jailed themselves.

If the bint in charge of the GC was to explode due to overeating / inactivity and someone who actually knew something about gambling replaced her could the day come when exchanges would be asked to refund overall losses to in-running losers?

So you don't actually know stewarty?

Nit picking now Feck? Always happens when on the back foot and part of the minority. Of course you're entitled to your opinion, and no, I still haven't googled to see if it's daily or weekly, but does it matter? It's still blatantly wrong. Wouldn't you agree?

Back foot? Yeh, I'm reeling at your cucumber logic. It's more like 40 million, it's weekly and it wouldn't even pay the bonuses for the city bankers that your so glad Dave's sticking up for. It obviously depends on what you think we get in return for that 40 mill. Whatever it is, it will be a lot more than we get off England for our oil money.

I knew someting was bugging me, so I wrote to our MEP. (Catherine Slater)

It's definitley 40,000,000 per day.Approx. 13.8 billion per annum. Meanwhile, Greece continues to prosper, and we have millions of families below the poverty line in this country......

She's right stewarty. The net amount is less than that and the figure was much lower before Blair agreed to a billion a year drop in the UK rebate over 7 years in return for reform in another area which never materialised. Ms. Slater's information could be found with a simple google and my earlier mistaken post was the result of an arithmetic error after such a google. Nevertheless, well done on your post 13th December research efforts.

Anyway, according to you Dave has sorted those Euro kvnts out. Britain's still paying the same but boy did he stick it to them by sticking up for our hero bankers. Come the independence referendum you'll be voting for more of the same. I suppose if it goes the wrong way for you you could always head for prosperous Greece.

Feck, it's not my intention to nit-pick. But let's face some facts here re: europe. I forget his name, but this muslim wants to destoy the UK. (I could google) In their wisdom the european court in Stratsbourg? tells the UK that they have to release him and he's now under house arrest basically. He's not allowed to use a mobile or the internet. Nothing to stop him getting his 'pals' to do it for him. Six countries want to extradite him, yet we have to follow the euro sc u m.

And what about my point re: Nick Griffin???? Yes, I know I got his name wrong on my previous post.
By:

And not only Griffin, what about his staff??? Every taxpayer in the UK are paying their wages. Unbelieveable. Have you seen the size of the european parliment? I'ts the size of Glasgow. Bring it on, more bureaucracy.

Nit picking is exactly what you're doing stewarty. You've found a waste of space and money within a bureaucracy. Big wow. If you think Dave would be directing any savings into your pocket it's a brain transplant you need. As far as extradition goes, given Britain is now extraditing citizens to countries that condone torture (USA for example) I'm glad there's a jurisdiction beyond these shores you can appeal to. Maybe if Britain followed the EU lead w.r.t. Iraq & Afghanistan this cleric wouldn't want to destroy us (always assuming he does) and all those people wouldn't have been slaughtered to further America's oil interests.

What about Nick Griffin Feck??? And his sidekick who is also a MEP. Why are they representing us, or whoever in the UK. Is this your dream of a federal europe?
By:

I would not expect to have a veto on every MEP in a federal Europe stewarty. Hope this helps.

If the bint in charge of the GC was to explode due to overeating / inactivity

that would work well on glasgow council parks gimps and pretty much everyone who self-identifies as a joiner.

have you been defending the eurozone banker bailouts feck?

Not me charlatan. My solution involved a massive jobs boost to guillotine manufacturing and nationalisation of all banks and financial services.

You're a laugh and a half Feck. Your dream scenario is for the wee fatman who calls himself the leader of the Socialist National Party to get independence for Scotland and give us the euro.

That scenario would make us worse than Greece, and the few million pounds sterling you have with National Savings, well you could paper your living room wall with the new eruo's as it would be more expensive to buy wallpaper.

Cameron called the wee fat man's bluff, yes or no. He knew he was on a hiding to nothing, hence he wanted a third choice in any referundum.

It's a bit like you walking into a bookmakers and sticking a ton on a horse and saying to the guy behind the counter, "if my horse finishes third, could I have my money back please".

You know that wont happen, and the wee fat man is similar, he's terrified of a yes or no vote. He'd get slaughtered.

All those Labouur votes you made Feck, where are they now????

I'll tell you....Palookaville.

Oh right you are stewarty. Do you think your "Dave is my shephard, I shall not want" creed is the way forward then? I have to admit, the fact independence for Scotland would leave his party in a great position for winning elections in England and they'd no longer have to "subsidise" us I find it heartening that he is so determined to hang on to us. Methinks the Black Eyed Peas question "where is the love" has been well and truly answered.

Anyways, back to the real world. This is the same Feck who says it's my beloved England.

This is the same man who paid for his English friends to stay for a night at the Salutation hotel for the Scottish general betting drink

I would have made it drinks, hence the low turn out.

Now, if there's another one this year, I wont be able to attend due to a wee bit of ill health.

However, if I can make it in 2113, I will arrange it, and the Englishmen will pay for my kip as a goodwill gesture.

Unlike Feck, all and sundry will each eat two Scotch pies and it will be the Saints and Sinners meeting at Hamilton.

On the way back to Glasgow for a proper bucket we can dump Feck into a taxi at Rutherglen to save him further embarrassment and get him home to his wife, whom I'm sure, will take 'good care of him'.

Anybody interested, let me know. But Feck is a non-runner for the evening session. (nap)

Now it really will be "A lonely thread" stewarty.

I don't suppose anyone would care to address the opening post. An unlikely scenario but wouldn't it be comedy gold?

lol Feck. Sometimes nobody on here has a sense of humour.

My last post was in jest. As for my health,it's nothing sinister but puts me in my kip a lot.

Having said that, you got the fraud part of the opening thread title spot on. (IMHO)

that seems a big switch from your more power to pan-european government stance. are you lining up a pan-european revolutionary force in order to set up a more authoritarian european government capable of enforcing 99% marginal tax rates? Laugh

i guess you'll just have to be satisfied with the travails of unready rangers.

I realised it was a jest stewarty as was my reply.

charlatan, had there been a federal europe already in place (or even better a federal world) do you really think the financial ponces would still be poncing? What limited power the EU had to deal with the skum was greatly diluted by Dave protecting his party's prime funding source. The USA's pet poodle is now little more than an upmarket Costa Del Crime and the sooner Scotland cuts  the tie the better.

having translated that out of feckin' nonsense i'll assert a yes to your question for the federal europe. which is how i'll be voting if i'm still living in scotland in autumn 2014. the slovaks were to the left of the czechs economically, gained independence and went the other way.....

a federal world (depending on the degree of lip service paid to the federal bit) is a bit different because there might be no competition to counteract bureaucratic insanity. in that case all bets are off.
