If I lay an outcome at odds of 1.5 to win £20 and risk £10 liability.

If the odds rise to 2.5 what would I need to stake to green up on all outcomes?

Is there a formula to work this out?

Stake 1 * Odds 1 = Stake 2 * Odds 2

£20 * 1.5 = Stake 2 * 2.5

Therefore, Stake 2 = £12 to green up equally on all outcomes

Sorry can you explain that further please? maths not a strong point, so don't understand how you get 12 in that example.

use the what if option on options just over markets on right hand side and play around with it

In your case, the original backer stake at 1.5 was £20 (don't do it considering the liability).

At later odds of 2.5,
New Stake= 1st stake x 1st odds/2nd odds = 20 x 1.5/2.5 = 12

Profit = Stake 1 - Stake 2 = 20-12 = 8 (whatever outcome)

Redding out is the same, and in the case (Stake 1- Stake 2) is negative, and will be the loss for all outcomes.

Just stick it in a spreadsheet.
