also posted this on horse racing .......live in Leeds and being going to most of the Cheltenham meetings over last couple of years other than the festival, but it is generally too crowded even though top quality racing, I like to walk about,look at the horses welcome the winners etc and watch from a good viewing point, we were going to become members at Cheltenham but wondered if any of you guys knew a nice course to go to that is not too packed has good viewing facilities and a large screen, tried Sedgefield and Huntington both have poorish viewing and no large screen and ideas within about 3 hours driving of Leeds

My local track Utoxeter has improved vastly over the years, no big screen but good viewing with decent facilities.
