The inconsistency applies across the board.

Lancaster for the RUFC market :  Refused and now odds on favourite.

Some obscure beat combo for the Christmas No.1 market:  Refused and went second favourite.

Alan Pardew, currently flying high with NUFC  for the QPR job:  Accepted.

Does anybody have the low down on the policy here?

Don't strain your brain trying to figure out why Betfair, do or don't do stuff.
Betfair should simply add the selection 'Any Other' to all these markets.

someone on the tennis forum has just met some difficulties getting anna chakvetadze added to the women's australian open, who's in the draw (albeit with a slight injury concern).

i find that rather odd, and along with this, it's got me thinking whether cross matching has now made adding new runners to existing markets a little more complicated than it used to be. presumably there has to be some sort of consolidation once you add a new runner.
