Are there people/ companies out there who specalise in designing "bots" for use on Betfair subject to customer's needs? If so, how much does it cost for one on average? Assume the level of sophistication affects the cost.

I've just finished writing mine. It's pretty simple in what it does because I only
want it to automate the boring bits of what I do (making books in ante-post horse
racing). I could probably adapt it now to any task I want.

The commercially available software allows you to do most things. Bet Angel seems to
be the one that is mentioned most.

What is it you want it to do?

be careful with the in play botting as although you get 7-15 seconds delay in-play with vids and price updates, you can bet 22 million in a split secondWink

I've written a few bespoke betfair bots and applications for people on here.
An English programmer who knows betfair is likely to start at a few £k

You could get something for a few hundred from india but whilst much cheaper it has its drawbacks associated with the lack of betfair knowledge.

I'm open to profit share if the project lends itself to it.

Just out of interest, are you prepared to say what you wrote them in and roughly what they do
that Bet Angel doesn't?

lets not praise any betfair application at the moment as it could be one of the commercial ones that was involved with the ridiculous stakes set for the leopardstown race, surely if so it should of error trapped such bad API procedures?
