ech, just the usual tale feeble-minded woe MA. two runner market, put an offer up at 1.1 on the wrong one, matched immediately so no chance to cancel.

good news was it was the beginning of the day, I actually felt quite chipper getting it all back. other way round and i'd be so much more p!ssed off.

But that's better than 9 hours work for say minus £500, which isn't uncommon in this business. I work just as hard every day, but I make a loss on 46% of my days, that's why I think this business is so hard because you have to turn off normal human needs of expecting to get paid for an honest days work. The figure at the end of the month is the one that matters :)

Someone said the other day that this is the most difficult business to succeed in, can anyone think of a more difficult one?

I know that being a Ghostbuster can be pretty tough. You really are at the mercy of planetary allignment and paranormal activity which can be erratic at best.

very true, trevh. if there's one thing this business teaches you it's how to be phlegmatic about material losses.

dunno about it being the hardest to succeed in though. it just depends how you're emotionally wired up. most people who'd find it impossible would be and are far better at other jobs than I could ever be.

Not sure Viva, but it would go well on this forum tbf -just have a general full time /part time one for the footie forum .Not all  full timers make thousands every single week 

Investor- really weird

Been betting one way or another since December 1986 - had my best day yesterday -and have beaten that again  within 24 hours 

What the hell chance odds would that be ?  consistently  betting since 1988.

Yeah it's a funny old game Coach, I had my best day ever last week too, and for some reason (actually no reason) I've had 2 of my top 5 worst days ever too. Looking back through my daily stats, the last couple of months have been hugely volatile compared to the average.

Yeah, things going ok coach, nothing too spectacular, but developing nicely. How much did you make then?

Trevh - interesting stats - i have noticed myself an increased fluctuation month - month -although mainly on the down side .

This football season -
41 days with  no profit (record on BF)
43 days with no profit  (new record broken again)
2 of my worst months ever
Worst ever week,day and month
Best ever week ,day and month

And the season is half way through.

Investor ,consecutive days 3k then 4.7  - never so much as a 2k week before now .

Time to pay off a few debts -things were getting bad i don't mind saying .
