Betfair spokesman Jonathan Oates was having none of that. "We certainly don't have anything to hide," he declared in his new role as company bouncer, barring the entrance to the meeting room, while actor Richard E Grant (not a shareholder) wandered past.

Mark Davies must be scratching his head wondering what has happened to the PR in recent times.

I have met peoples recently from two of BetFAIR's institutionel investers.

There is no other FTSE 250 company who have a job given to PR man to be bouncer on door to keep people out.

If BetFAIR do not change this policy, they will not be a FTSE 250 company for much longer.

If they box peoples into room they got them to pay £13.00 each for share last year.  If noone asks any difficult questions, perhaps these peoples will stay on board.  BetFAIR need to send the message to the world they are the best in the world at what they do, not try to hide from exposure to media/the world and try to keep sweet city companies who they think they can keep selling "GROWTH" projection to.

Institutional investers were so angry they lose so much money by the way.  BetFAIR float has cost them overall about six hundred million pounds of their moneys.

Posting it 3 times doesn't make it true.
The float has not cost these so called institutional investors £ 600 millions.

Maybe next BetFAIR head of PR is ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER.  Someone big who can block door of BetFAIR meetings from nasty journalists Laugh

Dont see how they have lost so much when so few shares are actually released. Surely the biggest losers in all this are Ed Wray and Andrew Black. Dont they retain about 20% of the company?

Forgive me if i have have things wrong only this is what I understand so far about betfair

2 men got together and decided it was time for CHANGE so came up with an idea
2 make a sporting EXCHANGE that worked like the EXCHANGE, and only CHARGED for winning.

Then Betfair was born and Automated bots and betfair EXCHANGED money and it was ok
till they looked in the till and saw only CHANGE, so betfair CHANGED and CHARGED
more for EXCHANGING to make more CHANGE in the till, but some have
CHANGED and CHARGED in with more than 1 account so the CHARGED, EXCHANGERS who leave only CHANGE are CHARGED FOR CHANGING there CHARGES

Now press have CHANGED and having EXCHANGED Good press have noted the
CHANGE in the CHARGES and the CHARGING of the EXCHANGERS who CHANGED there CHARGESSo the press went to see them at there annual bash but having CHANGED about there view on CHANGING CHARGES, tried CHARGING in but the staff have CHANGED into bouncers And EXCHANGED words about not saying anything about CHANGING the CHARGING or the CHARGES about EXCHANGERS CHANGING there own CHARGING.
