I know we all feel it, and I have suffered like the rest all my life, but I managed to put my hands on £500 for an acca today, not expecting to win , just praying.
I start with eng v argies and had to sweat but despite JW missing pens I am ok (1-7).
Then comes Rangers , a less than convincing but easy 1-0 (1-2)
2.30 chester and easy win Mabaany (4-5)
City win (1-6) Celtic (1-4) Arsenal (4-11) Chelsea(4-6)
now go to pub watch the reds slaughter Bolton (2-5)
so go home waiting on 3 results for a needed payout of nearly 20k
easy Real Madrid (1-12)
Benfica just win 2-1 (2-7)
and finally the best team ever or so they say, unbeatable, incredible, will win every game this year , 2-0 up at half time

Thats very unfortunate, thousands will have lost their banks today, thousands more will follow tomorrow and same the day after. Its not just you. We should really bet small for fun instead we think we can make easy money on here.. never gonna happen.

lol - how many times have you heard this? Creative licence used by mug punters to gain sympathy. Psychologists say these type of punters in fact deep down want to lose and gain more from the hard luck sob story than from winning.

That's hard luck Newmugpunter, but if you can afford to place £500 on such accumulators some would say you don't need the 20k.
500 is a lot to place on this type of bet - similar to buying 500 lottery tickets
Football sometimes is all decided by luck, you can have the 2 best teams in the world playing agaisnt each other and no goals at full-time but a dozen close misses, sometimes is a tuft of grass that deflects the ball for the deciding goal of a match, thats why there is always risk involved in betting on them.
11 events in an acca.. odds as low as 1/12 and highest 4/5.. £500 staked, the "banker" lets you down.. happens all the time, see football forum ... stop doing such large accas
look on the positive side, if you had put 500 on each as a win you would be in profit, avoid accas unless you have a hundred grand too burn at 500 stakes!
had a similar bet on the international footy. 10 team accumulator. first 9 won then USA beat me. They were playing at home to costa rica. was gutted but i only had £2 on it as i know big accs are unlikely.
