A successful gambler is affected by PC2 at a rate of 50%.
He pays £500 of transaction charges per day.
He earns £800 per day which after PC2 is actually £400.
The net result is -£100 per day.
I think this case has not been discussed here.
What do you think about it?
NB: transaction charges is excluded from P&L for PC computation.

Automate a few strategies over a few sports and you quickly get a lot of transaction charges.
1 extra bet placed (not even matched just placed) costs 1 penny. It is then only worth doing it if you earn more than 1 penny with it. With 50% tax, a transaction now needs a gain of 2 pence to make sense.
It is easy to realize that a lot of formerly winning strategies are now losing money. That means they need to be stopped. Betfair then suffers on three different sides: 1) loss of transation charges, 2) loss of PC, 3) loss of liquidity
One more weird implication of the over-complicated premium charge, I would say.
