Having imported the magicians figures into excel I have done some work to find the important trends
that will indicate what is going on between 2010 and 2011 figures for the periods supplied.

The biggest problem is that the world cup is present in the 2010 figures so my findings will
ignore football altogether as it is a bias sample.

core sports(horses,hounds,golf and other)         2010 vs 2011                    -2.74% growth
match type events(tennis,cricket,basketball)      2010 vs 2011                    36.75% growth

It can be seen that the biggest markets the match type events are increasing very well as usual
and the core sports betting hounds and greyhounds have peaked in reality.

Persons betting on matched sports can expect continued growth in these areas that will offset
pc2 quite quickly so well done betfair and the customers.

Racing for my money suffers the most because the tv rights belong to the bookmakers via sis
and its been the case for a long time, betfair need to explore new ways to bring these great sports
into contact with bettors and we need a results service like the other sites have.

Also can I mention that the poor old dog racing doesn't even have a radio service and what is an exciting
quick sport is truelly missed form customers ears and eyes.

Persons betting in match type events can continue to watch and hear there sports on freeview, sky, virgin, radio
and this is why these sports are not ring fenced in a media sense like the racingCry

Put the magicians latest table figures into excel, strip out football and you will find there accurate
to 2 decimal places,4 weeks is a better sample than 2 weeks and irrespective of the pc2 threshold
there is the same usual growth and maturity as there was before, but my argument is that th core sports needs revamping as its lagging in growth for very obvious reasons, the bookmakers
have a similar problem but thats because they bombard there customers with mickey mouse racing and
gambling machines to plunder the quick spin aspect of gambling aka addiction so there core sports is diluted, bad show I sayCry
