Hi Toby i try to make about £20 a match it has been working all week until i decided to get greedy and do stupid things im going to try and cut out those stupid things and keep doing what i was before hand, i makde 2.5k in 3 days doing what i know i can so hopefully i can reproduce this

Looking for a small average profit is sensible but it's hard to see how you got to +2.5k doing that

You can see if you look back at the bets you placed that you right now have the worst possible mindset for betting.

Place several bets, immediately do a load of cover bets (which just proves that subconciously you thought the original ones were dodgy) , then try to scramble about during the match reducing reds on various markets and then having to jump to another market when you realize by doing that you have built up a big red there too....

I suppose by cancelling out everything you do during the match you might just lose slowly to commission, rather than £900 per match but this is kamikaze stuff IMO

Usually Tober i do my bet and leave it in on the above i realised when it had started that i hadnt covered 0-0 enough so hence would be in a loss hence the mucking around in match

In my experience, I generally get hit by lots of bad luck only when I'm making lots of bad bets. Strange how many of those can't-happen moments actually do happen.

I can show you the form of many a horse that never had a chance of winning a race, only to catch an easy pace, put in an absolute stormer, or else see every one of the big contenders fall by the wayside.

Funny thing is, if I restrict myself to the bets that I know are sound and offer value for money, those no-hopers tend to start last and work their way further back from there.

You make your own luck. And you'd better start making it rather better through wiser choices.

He might well be, Shadow, but he doesn't seem to be thinking straight, judging by his recent posts. When he starts putting down lots of bets without knowing whether it's possible for him to win money from a game or not, and insists on blaming bad luck for the fact that he's getting some bit hits, it's probably time for him to take a rest for a bit. Hopefully he won't be back betting until his head has cleared, but one night's sleep isn't always enough to do that.
