Hi guys, I was wondering if some of you could help me in finding a spreadsheet/Template which will give me the information I need to Trade. I am looking for a template that will give me the odds I need to lay at or back to give equal green depending on how much I have staked, all at the look at a spreadsheet. Im really looking for something to help me save time as I dont always have as much time as I~ would like when betting due to work constraints. Since Employing someone to run the business I have this week managed to turn a 4k profit (1k per day) but I have at times got in a slight pickle with the greening out. This is a request for help, not a thread for those to come on here and make some sarcastic comment, so please respected Forumites only please. Thanks in advance.

@STA

What are you after?  Just a sheet that lets you input that you backed Bangladesh for £1000 @ 2, they're now available to lay @1.5, what stake should you lay to green out?  Or have I missed something complicated?

longbridge, thats correct, i have had to do it by keep altering my stake on the screen until it is an even greem! Time consuming!

For a two runner market:

Let's say you had £100 at 2.5 on Sri Lanka to beat Australia and now they're 1.4

Take the difference in the two numbers, so 150 green minus 100 red is 250 difference.

(I'm assuming you have "display what if figure" ticked, it seemed that way from your post)

Now click on lay for Sri lanka at current odds.

Click lay on sri lanka, and then click "payout". not the radio button next to "payout" but the actual link itself. A small box will pop out.

Enter 250 (the number from earlier) in that box.

You'll see the new "what if" numbers should be the same on both teams.

This also works on levelling up any market. Just take the difference of the two numbers you want to be level. So

England +155
Draw +35
India -100

First off you can level up Draw and India using the same method with "135" as your number, and then level up England and either of the other two with the new number.

My advice for this task would be:

1) Forget excel.
2) Practice arithmetic.
3) Don't worry about greening up to the penny.

I would also recomend geeks toy because it is free or the next thing do an excel sheet for yourself. It is not hard. The principle is that if you back or lay sth for 100 lets say then when you get to the point where you want to green or red just take first also for 100 and close your position. Now you have profit or loss only on one side and if you want to green or red all over you just have to divide your green or red with odds available currently and back or lay additionally the stake you got after dividing.

pm me your email address - I have a really basic spreadsheet for doing this if you don't want to do it in your head.
