my theory has always been the more you play the more you pay but lots of those games at 365 have a good strike rate if you play just once or twice but if you keep playing then they eventually beat ya,anyone got any good returns or ideas on these games
By:
just as a example...........bet 365 hi lo game started with 500 dollars in the free games , 2 turns 1300 dollars then stop, try it.
By:
i actually reckon the ones here are not as good , just my observation
By:
i think the reason they win is because you let them, because the longer you play the more you pay.
By:
read the games forums so many stories of ppl playing and playing till zero, but thats after they have been ahead, its there own lack of discipline, getting ahead but not quitting when ahead, happens all the time.
By:
try them
By:
Hate to break this to you, but games of chance are designed so that the house (i.e. Betfair) has an edge.
By:
bet 365, betfair, william hill , centrebet, all the same,
By:
i just bet on sinapore soccer game, 58 minit wanted one more goal cashed out a small return after 91 minit and then bang a goal after 93 minits,is that just luck or what
By:
a small return means i did not lose all of it

Each game inside the casino has an in-built advantage for the house. It is the factor that supplies casinos with their gaming profits. Around 18% of the cash 'drop' in casinos is retained as profit, or 'take'. This means that 18% of the money a casino gets to put down the shute on the gambling tables is pure gaming profit. (averaged out over a period of time)
Casino games, that you refer to, are probably around 30% so you have no chance. |
By:
but by cashing at was just bad luck i caahed out so it is luck really...........all of it
By:
buzzer you may be correct but i think you lose because you sit here and play and play because you get hooked but thats not their fault thats all the players
By:
note the slot machines, even when ppl win they go back for more until its gone
By:
You have to gain an advantage over the market. In a sports market you have to be getting greater than true odds to profit. You have to think over the, very, long term not one or two games where you think luck/fate conspired to take your money.
If you're backing 2-1 shots at 9-4 you'll obviously win over time and if you're backing 2-1 shots at 15-8 you'll, eventually, lose. |
By:
its about quitting while your ahead, no different to boozing, have a couple then a couple more and so on
By:
Not bad Freddie.
mikenz if you knew a true price was 2-1 and you knew you could consistently get odds of 9-4 would you give up after 3 losses? If there were 20 events that day where you were getting 9-4 on a 2-1 shot would you quit if the first bet came in? |
By:
no, you win some you lose some, i was mainly talking on casino games, they usually win because ppl play then[slots]etc etc until bust, thats where the addiction factor comes, some have no control, like kids in a toy shop
By:
So you think almost everyone who plays casino games gets in front and only loses because they carry on?
By:
probably,if your hooked your hooked but there are exceptions as in all cases
By:
mikenz,
Do you think discipline is sufficient to overcome the negative expectation of casino games? |
By:
say for instance if you walk into a casino, bet big one game, you win, do you have enough discipline to pull the pin or play two more games only then to end up chasing losses,i know what i do.
By:
i would stress ive never been in a casino, never played slots either, just played some online for a while but started to see a patter forming
By:
win for a while then boom, read the games forums, lots the same
By:
its knowing when to pull the pin
By:
we in new zealand have issues with slot machines, gambling addictions, ive never played them, 2 reasons, they are in pubs and dont go there and i aint interested anyway but a lot spend the rent money till its gone
By:
Just stop playing them...
By:
I see people every day pushing money into the slots, fobts etc. They have a win and get congratulated, then buy their mates a round of drinks, if only they received a drink back every time they lost.
It's difficult to think of a bigger mugs game than pushing money into games that are designed to make profits for their owners. I guess a few people can afford to lose the money and do it for entertainment, but the majority appear to actually believe that they will make money from playing them. Crazy. |
By:
as ive found the more you play the more you pay, but what i was stating at start of thread is there are some games etc hi lo games that if you say for instance play one hand etc and then walk its probably no different than waiting for a goal in soccer, .........why ppl lose is they get hoked and then just keep going till they run empty..........remember all these sites have millions of dollars , ppl only have a few, they just sit and wait for everyone to blow theirs
By:
i play the free games only these days and some are winnable but only if you have discipline and quit when in profit.
By:
Please stop wasting time on these stupid games and bet on football.
Playing those games is only worthwhile if there are offers pushing the probability in your favour. |
By:
and if the operator pays when you win if that occurs Investor...
By:
yes Lori, I've found that to be the case with sports betting too. Still waiting to get my £450 back form betsson, which they 'confiscated'.
By:
some may say that some of those games are chance but reality is when you think of it so are lots of sports bets too, you dont really know if another goal is coming, another run in baseball or points in rugby, thats just the way it is.
By:
its mainly luck.
By:
mikenz, even if it's 90% luck and 10% skill on average per bet, in the medium to long term the skill element will far outweigh luck.
