Another Android/mobile Q for anyone who knows about these things!. My mobile is a dinosaur and i'm thinking of getting an Android. Samsung Galaxy S2 most likely. Not as keen on an i phone.
My question is are they any good for trading?. As in can a bet be placed, in running, with no delay greater than the delay using the site in a regular fashion on a laptop or PC?. Sometimes (for tennis and football) is use the Geeks Toy software, i am right in assuming this is impossible on a mobile phone or is there any way of trading as effectively.
Thanks for any help

Yes you can place a bet in-running on these devices.  Would I trust one for trading though?  Not a hope in hell.

Thanks TheVis, any reason in particular why not?. Are they more likely to time out or drop the connection?. I've just been looking at some reviews on you tube, they seem to  run very quickly. I know they can be used in running, i'm just wondering if they can be used for in running trading AT NO DISADVANTAGE to a regular computer user.

Search for VPS and programs like phonemypc and logmein (there is others talked up more but I can't recall the name as I am yet to partake).

A direct Toy for Android is not available afaik, but controlling your PC running the Toy via phone/tablet is more than adequate, especially considering if using just your phone.

missingrib - I use my iphone a lot to place bets when I am out, particularly at racing.  Not to trade but to hedge positions on horses I have backed.  I often get issues with a flakey signal and just could not recommend it as being anywhere near the same experience as a standard home pc setup.
