Actually, if you want the best price you would almost never choose betfair, apart from maybe the odd outsider, a bookie price with no commission or other charge (or even another exchange with lower fees) would beat it nearly every time.

Have a look at any football team priced on here, at, say 2.02 or 2.04. The chances of there being no bookie anywhere offering evens or better is virtually zero.

tbf, though, "hate hate peoples" wouldbe quite a good name for a band.

as a layer all i have done today is watch every horse at the top of the market shorten in price...this is not the bees knees anymore and it has become so serious that i am thinkin of quitting and if other layers cant compete they will do the same and all u will be left with is a whole lot of backers and effectively a bookie know as betfair or betfair bot...in running is gone and now the balance of backer to layer is gone....one cant work without the other...
