bwin are awful - rarely best price, stingy limits, well-known for cancelling bets after the event.

Good luck, they cancelled a bet of mine after it won, for no other reason than they overpriced the winner. It wasnt late, it wasnt an arb, and it wasnt an input error. I backed something at 25/1 that was gennerally 12/1, and even refused to give me the 12/1. You cant go to IBAS, to complain you have to go to them !!
Good luck getting paid out, they make life incredibly difficult on that front as well

mafia company IMO - lord knows how so many people bet with them. CS is the worst also - took 9 verification letters sent to withdraw the 200 quid I deposited.

Same issues withdrawing what is fortunately a piddly amount of cash.

Do not ever deposit with them is my advice.

They are on the "careful" list of most bookmaker review sites

More trouble than they are worth.  Even with a brand new account you cannot get a decent amount on and they will soon cut you to feck all.  Given that a good few are agreeing they are best just left alone.

In effect, these best prices they offer are mythical as nobody is getting on with them.

Had an account for a few years but use them as a last resort.  Useful for live video, tho' Laugh

I got restricted after 1 win in 5 bets and their IR overround is usually a disgrace. That said, they often shorten the favourite to such a stingy amount that they end up way to generous on the other outcome.  All you need then is to be able to get more than a tenner on [>o]

Jimmy - our euro friends have zero clue on what CS should be and are happy to get a bet on however poor value and however much they get taken for a ride. To be fair they are good at marketing.

These clowns let you deposit with no questions asked yet you try and withdraw a small amount of money and they will not let you unless you have produced a  document with your photo on etc and now because i have been inactive for a period of time they sent me an e-mail explaining that unless i place a bet within the next 3 weeks they will start deducting 3 euros a month from my balance, hence i am now trying to send them said photo and close my account.

Your photo is so fearsome it will presumably scare them into closing it without any further pause ?

I disagree, they are a decent book (at least if you dont have a UK address they are)

Limits good, wont limit you unless you exploit a bad line or a perhaps a steamer (which is what all UK books do anyway) and for me an account will remain unlimited for far longer than a laddies or hills.  They do have a bit of a reputation for voiding bets but seem to be a lot better these day, and if there is a dispute it will be considered.

I think the issue with their customer service is that they dont have any power to make a decision, everything has to be referred to the management so you never get an answer from them at the time, you have to wait a while.

James - you are right  - they are decent IF you are a no clue euro and bet mug prices and ok with cr@p CS and voiding bets for no reason - decent book!

Never had any problems withdrawing with them to be fair. Just some fairly standard documentation required.

They started off laying a reasonable amount. Down to about 30 quid soon enough though. Couldn't tell you if that was down to having a half decent run or the type of bets i had.

Relate my experience with them. Deposited 200 with them - got charged using visa debit. Had one bet at 1/4 and tried to withdraw. Withdrawal cancelled. Sent them my passport and proof of address 9 times, 9 phone calls before they allowed the withdrawl. Process took 3 weeks. No apologies from them - made me feel as if they were doing me a favour by sending back the money. Despicable company from top to bottom.

I've been waiting 6 months to get my £450 back from betsson. They say they've confiscated the funds and will not discuss the matter. Now at malta lotteries & gaming commission, who are taking ages.

I will take it to small claims court if necessary. Their rating should be F.

You do know that the Malta gaming commission is headquarted in the catacombs don't you ?.
All sorts of skeletons down there of people waiting for their claims to be processed.
