I tried to do a few arbs to try to minimise it, unfortunately my lays on here all got beat so I won on here. Only 'won' a few hundred from my normal activities for the week, but I have been charged a few grand for the priviledge.

I don't understand my statement. My lifetime % of commission paid was 21%. In the first week it came to 19%. Yet I didn't pay the charge as the statement says my lifetime % is 40.9%. I assumed it would start of 40% but it seems to have been set slightly higher.

Joel, in order to minimize the burden of original PC I arbed too. I just skewed my position so that if I won on Betfair, I would win a big chunk extra (covering PC), and if I lost on Betfair I would end up with a loss overall (negating the benefit of losing on here).
If you do the math, you can balance it out in that way.

well according to the response to this thread it appears not many are paying PC2. Reading other forums it looks like some are splitting their bank and playing both places, I suspect from they are on 40%. Me, on 60% its a no brainer and I would be very surprised if anyone would play at the 60% rate.

Amazing how many pc2 players have a non realistic response to the pc2 on these threads, perhaps all is not what it seems and those same persons aren't in-line for the charge?
