I'm not a trader in any form or manner.
But surely if there is a keep bet option on an event, then that would serve your purposes ? |

Frog, not quite. You can only put in a stop loss later when the odds have shifted, otherwise whatever you put in as opposite will get matched immediately with best execution (rather complicated positions excluding). Some of API software offers this, otherwise nothing like keeping an eye on markets with position on.

You see I'm not a trader at all.
Let me understand. If I bet at ( say) 2.0 and put in a lay offer at ( say) 3.0 on a keep bet basis, then I will get stopped out immediately at a major loss ? |

To answer your question, some of the third party software products allow stop losses.
Although IMO, stop loses are for mugs. |

Btw homolupus please, please ignore my last post to you.
I was obviously totally p!ssed when I posted it, as it is quite supremely idiotic. I hang my head in shame. I bet some ( most) on here would now be hoping that I do try my hand at trading, most especially late at night. |

Btw I once had lupus.
An extremely nasty, degenerative type disease. All cured now thankfully. Although come to think there may be some residual issues associated with the trading side of my brain ?. |

I can never seem to be able to reflexively react in the manner required. That is betting high/laying low is the same as buying low/selling high.
The latter reaction is reflexive, as it is for everybody ( except perhaps to former communists who never experienced a supply/demand economy), whilst the latter just isn't( to me at least). Anybody else have the same problem, in a nano second thinking capacity ? |

Hmm, some interesting replies, and thanks to ye for your heip. I dont have time to sit at my computer all day so im looking at placing bets and laying off to make 10% minimum. Obviously prices can go the wrong way, hence my question.
