Ok this is a new horse laying challenge thread inspired by rjb’s thread: “how many lays to 100k”

I will do it over the next 1-2 weeks (and/or until I go bust) and also start with £100 but will aim to reach £1k (not 100k) and only LAY horses. It will be full bank exposure each time.

Horses will be outsiders and odds will be between 30-50 everytime. nearer to 50 preferably each time and I think it will take 123 successful bets to reach a grand if my maths is correct??
Feel free to correct me on that.

I expect to lay a winning horse even at those odds before the 123rd bet but fancy giving this a go as the most I can lose is the initial £100 stake. Lets hope I get a good run.

Wish me luck. Will post up all bets pre-off.

Bet 1 of 123: 20.25 killar
Mayday Frontier odds 29, to win £3.24 - exposure £96.60

No Paulme - like this .....

Maccabees  4  £25.00  £100.00 £75.00
Ref: 15517429215 Bet matched: 19:28 13-Jul-11

When you place a bet - you have the betting transactions shown on the RHS of the race you have just bet on. Simply copy and paste it into this thread that way everyone can see details about time/odds/amounts etc.

RJB thread was good - but he did get found out when he said he had a winner but he had to be reminded that in fact he lost ... which perhaps indicated he didn't actually place the bet in the first place ....

It is easy to post up bets but it is even harder when there is real money involved so like I said I wish you all the best with this all in challenge ...

So why aren't you posting your actual bets up as and when - before the races ? thanks and good luck.

It is funny - RJB couldn't or wouldn't post his actual bets up either.

Good luck

Mmmmmmmmmmm a load of utter trash is posted once again to the Betfair forum

Everything related to showing your bets etc is meaningless unless posted before the event - The proof of the bet doesn't matter - as long as you post your selections before the event your skill can be judged accordingly

Anyone can post up their selections after the event, us educated people are not blind to the dodgy goings on at the Betfair forum

Anyone that has a topic and posts their selections and results after the event must think that we are blind

What is there to stop a dodgy poster from not posting all of his losing bets if he posts after the event

Now that will get a few people thinking - well at least it will wisen up the naive ones that visit the forum

------------------------------------------------

paulme - All the very best with your selections - as I have already mentioned - just post your selections before the event and no one can question anything - it's all about showing your skill - the proof of the bet means nothing here

These people that have after the event topics are very sad - to think that anyone is interested in an after the event topic, they must have lost the plot in life

Have a good one

paulme  - ignore this poster - he has the biggest after the event topic at Betfair - he is just trying to bother you

No problem - I simply like to see the actual bets (whether you play pre-off or inrunning).

Seems like there is some secrecy over posting them up .... it shows a lot more than just your selection - time, amount, odds etc

Now now Inono - don't be jealous - as you know I trade before the off and i/r. Perhaps you might like to check my posts a bit more carefully as I do quite a lot of pre-off bets - so slightly offended by your remark.

There is one thing I will not do - is not stop doing i/r trades simply because you don't believe them Laugh - because you saw with your last big hit on your thread (horse you layed at 6's went to around 50's inrunning) - that it does sometimes pay to green up inrunning (but hey if you don't wish then it doesn't mean no-one else can) ....

No worries Paulme - if you don't wish to post up your actual bets then no problem - I will remain off this thread and let you continue your chat with Inono. Perhaps Inono can help you with some long odds lays.

all the best anyway.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm - I've just thought about something

As none or not many of us know eachother regarding integrity etc - this is an after the event topic and there is no way that you can proof any of it

I am not for one moment suggesting that you would do anything dishonest - but the possibility is there for you to forget to post the odd losing bet or even falsify a winning bet

At long last I have seen the light (I was a bit slow spotting this one)

The error of your ways is the fact that you now and again mention  your main selections and yet you still never post them before the event - I am disappointed with myself that I should be so gullible in having any interest in a topic that is in fact an afertiming topic and could possibly be manipulated to give people a false impression of your good or bad skills of selection

I am more than annoyed with myself that I have spent time here
Have you considered posting your selections before the event

Not for one moment am I suggesting that you are dishonest - what I am stating is that your topic is meaningless due to you posting your selections etc when the outcome of the event is known

Start a before the event topic - that would be good

The other problem with your topic is that you could easily forget to post some bets up after the event - that would mean you had forgotten to show a true reflection of your strike rate

Do you understand what I have written
