Does the percentage you pay in PC change or is it fixed once you reach a certain rate?

Lifetime commission generated to gross profits ratio    Applicable Premium Charge Rate
< 5%    60%
5% - 10%    50%
10%+    40%

If you satisfy the conditions set out above on 20th June 2011, your lifetime commission generated to gross profits ratio on that date will be used to determine the Premium Charge rate that will be applied to your betting thereafter. If you first satisfy the conditions above after 20th June 2011, your Premium Charge rate will be determined based on your lifetime commission generated to gross profits ratio at that time.

Do this mean that if someone is classified as a 60%er their premium charge payment will always be 60% even if they start to deploy a different strategy and increase their commission/profit overall percentage from, say, 4% to 30%?

Secondly, what do they mean by 'entity'?:

Accounts that relate to one person, entity, API subscription or a Master Account with related Sub- accounts (Trading version only) are treated as one customer for the purposes of calculating Premium Charges

frog2,

The first statement by Betfair sounds wrong. In my opinion the commission boundaries are flexible depending
on actual commissions generated. I may be wrong though.

An 'entity' is a group of players betting on one account, or a company, or bookmaking firm etc - not a single bet alone
customer.
