I backed Lisiki and Azarenka at the start of the tournament only for £2 each (Im a beginner at this trading business). I then backed Kvitova at 5.5 for a £5 stake. So the only player i was in red on today was Sharapova.
Since I am trying to build my back i decided to even the money out on all players to assure a profit and had roughly £10 green on all 4 players. However being an idiot I decided to mess around and now have a book that shows
Whilst this is a avaliable lesson for me (Dont mess about before doing your maths) im now desperate to green this market back up for whatever profit i can get since my only aim at the moment is to build my bank.
I personally cant get my head round this maths or workout if I can even get back into the position i was in. Therefore I am asking any of you better traders for advice on how to reverse my mistakes. I appricate you are probaly all busy trading but any help would be greatly appreciated.
To get level (red or green, can't be arsed to work it out ) you need to do the following:
Take Sharapova as your base.
To get Kvit and Shara the same you need to find the difference (£6.02 minus -£10.40 = £16.42)
in the betfair box for laying, switch to "payout" rather than liability
Click lay on Kvitova and click the payout link. If you're happy with the odds you're laying, enter £16.42 in the box. Your red on Shara and Kvit will now be the same and the other two will get greener.
Now do the same for Azarenka. so it should be, £12.95
Repeat for Lisiki
All should now be the same.
