Looking for a bot that can recognise prices in horse rating and whether the price is higher or lower than the one directly above or below it.

Also needs to be able to screen scrape some info from one market to place bets/lays in another.

Is this possible??? And if so which one would you recommend???

Thanks [:p]

bfexplorer pro can do it.

Everythings possible, but you haven't stated that clearly what you need. Where are these ratings coming from, when you say screen scraping etc it implies you're scraping info off the web rather thanthe info available via betfair's API feeds

Thats a bit better [:x]

Will check that out buzzer and also pato thanks for that recommendation.

Ghetto...basically need to back/lay in my main market and also in another related market at the same time based upon what my main market information is telling me. If that makes any sense???

If you're Ok with excel might be worth looking at gruss. That can send the market info to spreadsheets and has various triggers to lay/back etc You could always log the individual markets on the same sheet to share info from each and then fire off bets whenever your conditions are met.

Marketfeeder Pro - can do almost anything.

If you are betting on a horse with index 3, then you will be able to follow the prices of indexes 2 & 3.

You can base decisions on your main markets on the conditions within any other market.

Welcome to the sports forum Grunny.
About time you started to contribute here, now that you've gotten over your Xgames obsession.
You have I hope ?

Not got a lot of experience with Excel Ghetto[:(]

Grunweld...thats all well and good[:p] but can it follow all indexes and prices and select the ones I want to back/lay say 5 or 10 seconds pre off time???
Report Grunweld June 26, 2011 11:17 AM BST
As I said Nathan it can do almost anything.
You can track all selections by rank, index or price. It will back or lay at any specified time before the off or in-play.  I can't really think of a scenario that could not be implemented.

I have looked at all the other sports exchange commercial bot offerings and MFPro is easily the most versatile for automatic wagering.  They offer a 2 week full function trial and a test only version for a nominal subscription.  If you are a newbie I would suggest buying the test only version first and then taking the 2 week trial when you have developed your triggers.

Market Feeder's probably your best option then nathan, like Grunweld says they all give free trials so you've nothing to lose trying them out with small stakes to get a feel of things. There's plenty of options so if one doesn't do what you want just try another, most have forums too so you can ask in advance to see if it'll do what you want. Just check they're Betfair approved ones  or even just what's available at http://solutions.betfair.com/index.php?option=com_mtree&task=listcats&cat_id...

Joe, do bets through this software go through the software vendors proxy server or something? I'm sure I read a comment to that effect somewhere.
Report nathan147 June 26, 2011 1:37 PM BST
Thanks very much guys[:)]

I have just hit The MFPro website so fingers crossed I will be able to sort out the triggers during the free
trial [smiley:crazy]
Report Grunweld June 26, 2011 2:43 PM BST
Ask on the forum how to do your triggers if you're stuck, there are some real experts on there (including me - LOL).

If you request a trigger from support they will add it to the list of example triggers for others to download.  But you can easily ask the forum without divulging all details of your strategy.  It's unlikely that others would use it anyway, they prefer to do their own thing.

To answer E_Dead, I'm not aware of MFPro using a proxy server and the software communicates directly with the free API.

Cheers Grunweld.

MF Pro doesn't use a proxy. Great software for drip feeding.
