Looks like me Sunday dinner is gonna be microwaved, a bit like the rest of the week. No doubt eventually they will want to charge about a grand for it.

"For some considerable time SIS has been canvassed by a large number of customers, large and small, about the potential to extend its Sunday FACTs service through to 21.30.

"Over many years SIS has worked closely with BAGS to develop the world class dog racing product that we now have in the betting shops. In the last few months SIS and BAGS have delivered on several initiatives, not least the very successful BAGS/SIS 500 series. We are pleased to announce that agreement has been reached to offer a six week trial of an extended Sunday race program until 21.30.

yuvutu

when SIS say they are going to trial something, it generally means you can have it for free for a few weeks, then when they stick it on permanent you will have to pay for it. I will be shuttinn about 5 on a Sunday as I always do. If anyone is in (which is very rare) I just sling em out. The nights are a waste of time as well, the game is better in the winter months, same amount of business in half the time. All said and done its on its knees the machines are the only thing keeping them open.

maineroad i get you. like i said before i hope the trial fails, i work for a high street bookie and our shop has to shut at 6 at the moment, but other shops in our area have been open till 830 for a few weeks now. ive heard different things from the managers of these shops, some saying they havent seen a sole from 630-700 and others who have had a few machine customers in. like i said before im getting tired of this game now, all the stupid external and internal rules, need to get me a mon-fri 9-5 which would surely pay the same peanuts im receiving now.

Yuvutu Depending on where you are, if you want to stay in the game but not work in the shop, why not try applying for a job on the phones, the money cant be any worse and at least you wont run the risk of getting shot/stabbed/battered or generally abused by the public.
