As the title reads i gave myself a long break from Betfair a few years ago and never came back. Bet on the fixed odds websites and missed Betfair greatly so i returned. Poorer, but a few years older and wiser!

What advice would you give me to assure my return is prosperous?[:D]

How long before someone mentions the premium charge?

Um, er, okay....well, how about the 'block user' thingy.  Used it a couple of times.  It's like walking into a pub with ten people yammering away.  One gets on your nerves and, blammo, he's gone but you can listen to the others.

[:D]

Use of the word "blammo" made you immune from the block user button for at least a year SHAPESHIFTER...dare i ask...Premium Charge?

I suppose, being serious for a second, and before the deluge of untruths about the pc becomes unleashed, I would say that it's all much tighter now and that if you couldn't make it work five years ago (assuming) then you are going to find it tough.

Problem 5 years ago was i was very good at turning a profit but too immature to hold onto it. Do recall in my first 6 months on Betfair i turned £40 into £1100 and then randomly decided it was a good idea to put £600 of it on a Swedish football match...it lost, i chased, i lost, go figure.

Not one of my brighter ideas!

Can see why someone would take a long break from betting but makes no sense to quit betfair for years whilst carrying on with bookies Confused
Report macrider June 16, 2011 11:49 PM BST

and do you still do that?

no viva el presidente! im much more disciplined these days. Which is a bloody good thing because i hated almost every swede i met after that bet!

macrider, posting my bets isnt a good idea! i get a few winners in a row, it turns into a glory thread and i get carried away!

tobemory, again another dumb move of mine!
