I think it could be data charges that were paid the first year with PC when they were "deductable". I think most people paying this charge is aware they are paying it so for those not knowing what it is - It is the top-up Betfair had to credit you when they changed the PC calculation from 60 weeks periods to your lifetime on here. If you were on less than 20 % lifetime when the change was made they sort of gave you credit for the amount between 20 % and your actually total charges so that you shouldn't have to start on a % less than 20.

Coach, you haven't paid it. Betfair give you credit for it being paid though. Actually that top-up when they changed to lifetime calculation is imo the only decent thing Betfair has done regarding the PC. It would have been a forum carnage though had they not done it.

certainly not data charges for me Eddie - certainly not credited either ,this appears as a new charge so to speak on top of what i had already paid before the p/c in commission , according to my maths anyway .

It's not credited to you. It's what you would have paid in PC in the years before it was introduced. Betfair just give you credit for it being paid even if it's not actually paid.

yep, the other charges and commission paid totalled would work out at roughly 4.8- 5% of total winnings (which aren't on the list )
...but it looks about what it would be .

do you know why BF do not include the current week's p.c on the lifetime chart ? i assume all the other figures relate to the new week .
Cheers
Eddie, on another note ,do you know why BF do not include the current week's p.c on the lifetime chart ? i assume all the other figures relate to the new week .Cheers
They had to put everyone up to 20% charges when they introduced it or they'd have been back charging people (They still did this to an extent on people with open positions in old markets, but we'll ignore that bit)

The 'total charges' amount is a complete falsehood - it would be more open of them, if they showed ACTUAL lifetime commission paid.
But by using vague headings and over complicated calculations, they succeed in hoodwinking most customers
the confusing thing is the term 'other charges' but maybe confusion is their strategyThe 'total charges' amount is a complete falsehood - it would be more open of them, if they showed ACTUAL lifetime commission paid. But by using vague headings and ov
Lori (as usual) is correct. If you add your Commission Generated, Other Charges and Premium Charges together, they come to exactly 20% of your Gross PL.
