A field of 14 did the so called 'homework' narrowed the field picked my lay, it finished 1st. It won, i lost. Need to talk about this. I need a drink.

It either goes one way or the other, if you find the worst pick you make is winning more often than it loses in your eyes, then it's time to back it.

I just can't get my small brain around the fact i'm trying to find a 'loser' but actually finding a winner. Maybe 'loser' is the key word here. I'm going back to poker at least she likes it.

Greenup, the world isn't conspiring against you, if you laid at 7.0, this time you found the 1 in 7 that you're going to lose.

I say try taking away the emotion and self pity and get on with it, there's no room for that in this game.

You placed a good bet if it's true odds were greater than 7.0 and you should recognise that, i.e you could lay heads on the toss of a coin at 1.9 and lose 10 times in a row, but viewing that as a loss will get you nowhere, you should be viewing it as a hugely successful placement of lays.

But it sounds like you grossly over stake?
