Now that is why you should always put up back bets just in case. That last bet the horse went to 95's inrunning. I personally don't do it all the time - mainly small fields, taking on certain style of horses, jumps etc.

Yep .... to win £10.40 or so overall ... I think it was £10 on every other horse and it worked around £10.44 for the horse that actually ended up winning the race.

Yep it will be a long journey.
An approx liability of 2% to 3% of the bank is probably ball park figure for someone taking a long term approach to their gambling/trading. If you do some research via google or ask others on the football and horse forums you will be able to get a feel for what people do. eg: £20K bank would mean a £400 to £600 liability. |
