Ive read the FAQ and all the betfair help topics but I still don't understand the Lay betting process.
E.G
What is the difference between the two options below
England vs Sri Lanka in worldcup cricket
Back Sir Lanka to win
Or
Lay England to the loose
The odds would be the same wouldn't they?
but they don't appear to be

Hello there.
If you back Sri Lanka or Lay England they are the same in this instance. The odds should be roughly the same, however the lay price is expressed in back terms. So for example a back price of 3 is the same as a lay price of 1.5. Is it possible that this is the cause of your confusiion? |
