I have just been on the phone to Betfair regarding the above , my understanding of the "apology" was to refund ALL commission on Horse Racing markets this week. I had a pop up message last Sunday indicating this but now Betfair are stating it was only on selected markets which was not my understanding. I never received an email from them which apparently I should have so have no comeback.
Did anyone else believe this to be the case and has anyone actually received a refund of ANY kind ?
Im sure a lot of people got burned last week when the site went down and as far as I am concerned Betfair have now back tracked on the offer I received and as a result, despite betting every day this week on various horse racing markets (including 6 Cheltenham races which of course did not qualify for the commission refund either) my grand total of compensation for last weeks debacle is £0.00
Thanks Betfair - Top quality job !!!! The purple site must be laughing their asses off at you.
The pop up message I got last Sunday made it clear which markets qualified under the offer.
To date this year site crashes have cost me approximately £700. My total commission refund this week was £65. A tiny gesture of goodwill which hasn't compensated me satisfactorily.
