say you're having a punt in the morning, is the overroundin the morning the same as at kick off, so on average you'll neither gain or lose by taking the price or letting it run?
Seems to me that the sp is more often better than the morning price, but that could just be my imagination.

With races where there is little knowledge of the runners, you can't blame bookies being defensive with their prices. It's not unthinkable that they add in a percentage or two in their favour.
I'd imagine the Starting Price Regulatory Commission (is that them?) have expectations of overrounds to be met. Is much known about the people who set the SPs? Is it just SiS and Press Association who declare an average of on-course prices? I can't find any literature online about the forming of SPs. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. If you've got knowledge, take the price; if you're frittering away small pounds and pennies, SP. Imo. |

In a Match Ods market for instance, if one selection is better at a certain stage, that means another will likely be worse. |

I think UTI is referring exclusively to horse racing.
You can only NOT take a price on horses and greyhounds. With any other betting event, the price is attached as and when struck. I'm guessing the 'kick off' bit was misleading. |

horse racing morning prices are a joke.. an hour or 10 min before race is best for price...
if u have to bet in morning, then offer ur odds and use the "take SP" option.. |
