I still find it tricky to get the favourite fraction right and am still refining the formula . I had been getting most right with 200 times ff squared divided by the sum of my first number of places paying win odds %ges , ff meaning the normal fair fraction i.e. Runners over places paying minus 1 divided by runners minus 1. Could anyone kindly tell me what I've got wrong as it works most times but gets the odd one badly wrong. I'm fine with the others after the fav. by the way...it's just getting the fav fraction right that is the problem. Cheers. paulperryman.
Cheers for that .I was beginning to resign myself to BF=2 only, plus in running hedging when more than two places paying ( three or four places is where it gets more complex mathematically). BTW if you lay in running at a tenth of your odds obtained I have found that to be akin to betting to place regarding profitability. Once again thanks. Paul Perryman.
