Hi all,

I'm sure this has been discussed already, but I have just seen this cash out facility. I have been offered to get out of a bet which is currently not going in my favour for £-121.

If I go to the market - one lay bet and I can get -£60 on all options.

Are Betfair totally taking the pi55, and taking advantage of those who do not know how to work out how to close out bets!?

If you hover over the cash out button it will show you a different profit/loss figure and this is the one that will pay out.

You're right though - the figure in the current 'cash out' section is misleading

At the time i did hover over it, and it showed the market with red against all 3 outcomes.

just praying on the innocent that is betfair.

Same thing here I had a single winning trade in the correct score market, looked at the cash out figure and it was going to be negative. God knows how they're calculating the green/red figure , looks like they're spreading over the full market rather than using the simplest way possible

are you not aware the the cash out button also includes a contribution to the bubbly for the shareholders meeting???
