Anyone had any problem with HSBC bank recently?
I paid some cash into my bank account this morning and came home to make a deposit into Betfair, but it says the bank has declined the transfer.
My online account shows the funds are in my bank account, so was wondering if the bank has suddenly decided to stop me using it for Betfair or what.
I will ring them shortly, but just wondered if anyone else had the same problem before I do so.

Yes, I had a problem with HSBC. They lent me some money and I didn't pay it back. Now they think I owe them.
OK, I have the answer.
My bank apparently decided to do a 'fraud check' and suspended my account on a whim, so wherever I tried to use my card it would have been declined until they decided it was ok to unsuspend it.
I love the way they do these things without even bothering to ring one up and tell us what is happening.
I detest all banks.
