I'm looking at the Fulham v Chelsea match odds market for tonight, Fulham currently available to lay @ 5.7. If I lay them at 5.7 with a view to backing them during the game to trade out for a profit, how long will it take for them to drift enough for me to make a few quid? If they are 5.7 to lay just before kick off, what price will they be say 20 minutes into the match if it's still 0-0?

I would say roughly the same or maybe a tick or two higher.
The price will of course depend more on what has happened during the first 20 minutes.

the prices will change faster and faster the later in the game it is, but a goal against you late in the game would be devastating.

How fast will the sky sports coverage of this match be? Is it almost up to speed or is there a significant delay?

Price them up and get matched at a price either side

Backing or laying and hoping something does or doesn't happen is gambling and as you say you'd be better just picking a team and sticking with it

Sky is a long way behind the action.

Couple of years ago i put radio commentary on while watching a game on Sky: A goal was scored with a breakaway from a corner. When they called the goal on the radio the team that scored it were still  in the middle of their own half on the TV.
