Paulol,

Actually, I think the Investor has made quite a lot more than that.

What your posts seem to reveal is that you don't understand that there is a small percentage of BF users who do this for a living, of whom the Investor is one.

Some of us have been here for years, earning 6 (and some v. rare individuals 7) figure sums per year.

paulol,  i will try to answer your question but why not ask investor.. put up a thread with his name and if you ask nicely, he will answer.. my view is following

investor makes his money by finding an edge...  he has grasp of prices and can spot anomalies in them which he uses to his advantages.. ultimately he knows that if he loses a few he will win in long term because of his edge and money management.. if he lost 14k in the arsenal game he can take that hit...

the best way is to do it yourself as no one will share their edge as if it becomes public knowledge then it is no longer an edge...

what sports do you know about? find a market , study hard and start with £100.. if you make 5 pounds every month consistently for a year you have a nice 60% return on your bank..

i hope u get the idea...

Ocean is right.

Figure out how to make $10 a month, then a week, then a day.

If you can do that then you might possibly make 50K a year.

But even people like me who make rather more than $10 day after day, don't come close to 50K pa.
