I had a bet last night on first goasl odds backed 21-30

The goal was at 30.56

Now the spreads are
0-10
11-20
21-30
31-40
etc

To me that reads if you back 0-10 you have from 0-10.59 secs

If its was only till 10 mins the spread would be 1-10 as a goal after 56 seconds would be classed as 1 minute

Betfair are saying 30.56 falls into 31-40 spread. If this was tyhe case there would be no need for 0 mins in the spread.

I know there have been a few calls about this.

Can somebody advise please?

0-59 seconds is obviously the first minute, therefore 30.56 is obviously the 31st minute.

So why have 0-10 as your first spread. If thats the logic it should read 1 - 10
Report Dr Kong • January 27, 2011 3:49 PM GMT
that reads

0-10 = 0.00 to 10.59
11-20 = 11.00 to 20.59
21-30 = 21.00 to 30.59
31-40 = 31 -40.59

If it was what you are saying it should read

1-11

because if somebody scores after 30 seconds its the first minute.

Why list 0 minutes?

For 'time of first goal' bets (i.e. "First Goal Odds" markets), the first half is deemed to last 45 minutes, regardless of stoppage time. Also for these markets, please note that the "0 - 10 Minutes" selection covers the first 10 minutes of the match. In other words, it runs from 0:00 until just before the clock hits 10:00. The "11 – 20 Minutes" selection runs from 10:00 until just before the clock hits 20:00. The same principle applies to each of the other selections in this market.

It's pretty clear in the rules, so basically it doesn't matter how crap the wording is (Fwiw I agree it should read 1-10)
