3 years for taking on the Murdoch phone tapping press at their own game? It's a fkng disgrace all right and the cap doffing members among the jury  who found him guilty should hang their heads in shame. I wonder what tory boy Coulson will get. A funny handshake in court and a golden one out of it?

do you think he was innocent of perjury feck

i have always liked sheridan  but i think he made a mistake taking the notw on when he was caught out and stitched up by his ex mates he should have let it go

Gerbs, if someone bugged your phone and exposed your private life to the world would you think they were desrving of fair play? He obviously made a mistake because of how it turned out for him but I can understand his reluctance to back down. As far as protecting the public goes, would we not all have been better served if the NOTW mob were the ones in jail.

Feck is spot on, the country would be a better place if that trashy little much raking comic was shut down permanently.

Regardless of NOTW (and i'm not defending them) the man has no morals and thought that he was above the law. He made his own bed.

archer was a tory boy and he got 4 years. that was also massively ott. but you dont like him, so i doubt your howls of protest were very loud.

sheridan is a nasty, arrogant gobsh1te fantasist. that doesnt mean i should be pleased at his sentence, but it is commensurate with with what went before.
By:
Feck N. Eejit
When: 26 Jan 11 20:52
On the contrary grappler, 4 years for what Archer was sentenced for was ott.
By:

When: 26 Jan 11 20:58
we agree then. but it is not a 'tory' thing. were you as outraged when he was sentenced?
By:
Feck N. Eejit
When: 26 Jan 11 21:45
grappler, no, Thatcher and her hangers on should've been guillotined. What I was outraged at was the way he was treated by the press after he was sentenced. It was as if they could say anything they wanted about him without fear of comeback. C4 even got some **** of a psychologist to abandon all integrity and say that Archer washing his hair every day in the gymn was classic psychopathic behaviour.

He clearly lied in court.

Why he was there in the first place was due to NOTW dodgy behaviour.

But that does not, and should not, detract from him lying in the dock.

Er...what has this to do with General Betting...?

This may all be fascinatingly interesting to all of you living in the UK, but to us in the rest of the word it's all meaningless gibberish.
And no I don't care to have it all explained to me thank you.

Not back punting yet stewarty but did back Celtic for the spl. Don't think I'll do it again as watching the spl these last two seasons has been like (to quote a football forumite) "watching a Robert Mugabe election".

What price did you get Feck?, (if you don't mind me asking) I was going to have a 2K double.....Celtic and Chelsea. Still fancy Celtic strongly, even by default. I think I saved my cash. Having said that, I've won a good few quid since october. I'm struggling to back a loser at the moment, but as you know, things can turn around rapidly in this game. Maybe because I've been lucky, I'm thinking it's the jumps for me! Having said that, I'm looking forward to the flat season.

What's the mans complaint? He lies in court, and as a result gets the state to feed him and stick a roof over his head for a while, that's "the ideal" for him and any thick work averse c*nt stupid enough to vote for his kind.

Not only that he'll get to mix with people who want to steal from others who work : a meeting of like minds for a socialist.

Then he'll come out and the same morons will applaud him as he gets to play victim, left wing bread and butter.

Bit of a result for him imho.

Not proud, but it was necessary, and I hope they take reasonable measures so it doesn't happen again.

It was certainly necessary to keep the cnts in the lifestyle they've become accustomed to. And they won't take reasonable measures either. They're like compulsive gamblers protected from the negatives.

Feck, I have a question for you. Like yourself, I've had many suicidal losing runs. My luck at the moment has been very good. Have you ever thought to yourself.... That's it.....my luck has to changed and damm it, the money's in the bank, I'll keep it, or do you just keep punting on?
By:
Feck N. Eejit
When: 28 Jan 11 13:53
Not punting at all just now stewarty because I can't be bothered but I'd always punt on when in the mood.
