I'm having to hang up my betfair boots soon, as I'm off to retire to Turkey.  Unfortunately, you can't access exchanges over there.

I've been making a fair whack IR on the horses over the last few years.  I'm going to post my selections for the last few weeks.  Hopefully I can help a few of you out.  I'm in bed with a bad spell of sciatica today, so it will also help me pass the time.

I'll post 5-10 minutes before each race.

There will be a combination of backs, lays and trades.

Do you have much success Homer?  What sort of odds do you target to lay?

Would have been +£150 on the race.  Very close!

I do ok jimk, it pays the bills! I only lay under 8.0 and always pre-off, my average lay price is just over 5.0 over last 500 bets.

I make fairly extensive notes on every race, it all goes into my 'money book'.
I combine that and the racing post to get my selections.

There's a fair few today.  I've been in bed for three days now, so I've had a lot of time!
