Gambling debts are legally recoverable, and even if they weren't, the fact that he has given you a bounced cheque would be enough to take action. I had a quick look at his website, it's not working. Which could well mean he is in trouble.
So if you are going to take action, be quick about it. |

gambling debts aren't recoverable by law in Ireland but you can sue on the cheque. Hopefully for you it was a personal cheque rather than a company cheque. If it's a company cheque - and the company is folding - then you're unlikely to get paid
