I think the last Christmas presents from Betfair were 2007. There used to be some lovely stuff, champagne, chocolates, all kinds of treats. It's hard to remember which things came from Betfair, because a lot of other firms used to send stuff as well. One year there were so many bottles of champagne I was giving them to the neighbours. Then there was the tin of French foie de gras came, it sat for years in the fridge, we just could not bear the thought of eating it because of all those poor ducks (or is it geese?) being force fed. I don't know what happened to it in the end, I suppose someone quietly disposed of it. Do you remember the numbers of diaries and calendars that used to come? There was a calendar for every room, even the bathroom. This year for the first time ever there is nothing, just a few Christmas cards. And even some of them don't say Christmas, but strange things like "Winter Greetings". Well those go straight in the recycling bin here in SW19, I can tell you. Anyway it was good well it lasted, thank you.
