I was gonna guess blackpool as top one.

Bolton must be up there too.

Ken, was this something you were monitoring or did you bet?
Report kenilworth December 13, 2010 11:30 PM GMT
No Dave, they put the win/lose in the RP every now and again.
I just happened to notice it today !Happy

That's a shame!

It would be interesting to see the distribution of the prices & whether or not a few very large ones were skewing this.

west brom must be the best

even better if you layed the opposition

Blackpool +17.60
West Brom +16.37
Newcastle +13.90
Sunderland +10.91
Man City +2.02

Dave, I understand what you are getting at,
but the top three have won 9 away games
between them, which is no mean feat. The only
sides who have done better away from home, are
ManC and Arsenal. Are we too late, or will it
continue ?

West Brom are massively under-rated by the initial market (opening prices). Take a look at their price moves this season. Perfect for pre-match trading.

The Management, promoted sides to the Premier League are invariably
under estimated perhaps with the exception of Sunderland and Derby
in recent years, which stick in the memory. The relative successes
are conveniently forgotten for some reason.

1993-94 Swindon 30 points
1999-00 Watford 24 points
2000-01 Bradford 26 points
2002-03 Sunderland 19 points
2005-06 Sunderland 15 points
2006-07 Watford 28 points
2007-08 Derby Co 11 points

Quite a few worse than Swindon.
