Do not buy an iPad. I am typing this on one now and they are great except for a massive negative. Unlike laptops/netbooks and its rival Samsung Galaxy Tablet, it does not support Flash Player so you wont be able to view video on most websites.
It is rumoured Apple will never support the free Flash video because they want you to eventually pay to view video content on websites instead by inducing developers to produce a framework for this to be possible and try to replace Flash player which is free. Let everyone you know who is thinking of buying an iPad this as without flash player it is severely limited. Rivals to Apple are still supporting flash so buy one of their tablets instead. |

This also applies to iPhone, Apple want you to pay for video via the iStore.

Even the Gadget Show who initially were excited, like me, about the iPad, recommended the Samsung Galaxy tablet in their Christmas show last week commenting specifically on the iPad not supporting Flash video.
