I am sure this post will open up a barrage of flack but that is normal here anyway sadly! I am hoping tho that there is some kind person out there who is in a position to to able to help me. I am notasking for charity nor even for a large sum of money. Just 150 pounds which i have to find in the next 6/7 days. This will be repaid as quickly as possible, with interest and costs. I will not go into details here, but my email address is below, and anyone who feels capable of trusting me is asked to contact me there please. All will be explained then. This is not scam, spam or whatever other term you may want to use, but a very genuine request with genuine reasons. Believe me, if i could have found another way, i would have done so! Thank you.

Which part of the country are you in.
I'm not in position to help anyway, but maybe if you offered to do some work for someone in your region then you'd have more chance than just straight up asking for a stranger to help.

Get creative. I guess posting on a betting forum isn't uncreative, but thinking up a scheme that earns 20 quid a day for a week isn't entirely impossible.
email is musician. Have you considered busking. Have you asked some local small businesses if they need a hand with anything.
Been in some mega jams in my younger days and found a way out of most of them. Some by being honest with whoever/whatever needed the 150 pounds and buying some time, some by doing some ridiculous unpaid work to work off debts.
Most of them involve losing some face/reputation, but when you're in a jam, that's the first thing you're going to have to concede is going to happen. If you're a decent chap, the face/reputation comes back fast enough (so I hear)

My back garden is full of leaves. You can earn your first tenner if your clear them for me. Should only take you a couple of hours max.
While i thank you for your advice Lori, living in the Philippines where they pay 3 quid a day for casual labour IF you can get it, is not quite the answer. Never mind!!
